1975 Printing for God since

Since 1975

In Nehemiah 4:6 the Word of God states that the people had a mind to work. The congregation of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church has always had a mind to work and this work includes reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We at Mount Pisgah count it a privilege to serve in this capacity of helping to meet this need.
Matthew 28:18-20 KJV And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. - JESUS CHRIST
Acts 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. - JESUS CHRIST
In the mid 1970's, a man by the name of Don Frasier planted a seed in the heart of Milford Ely, then the pastor of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. The seed was an idea for a local independent Baptist Church to print the Word of God. This was a bold and daring idea at the time for a small country church. There were other Bible printing companies out there, but the statistics were still coming up short; only one copy of the scriptures for every 10,000 people. In May of 1975, this ministry began in the basement of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. On Labor Day of that same year, God moved us into our own building on the church property. We are now in a new 20,000 square foot building to increase productivity so that the Bible can reach even more parts of the world. Please pray for us as we continue to print God's Word! At the moment, the Scripture Printing Ministry can print the Word of God in 16 languages. English and Spanish are perhaps the most popular, but the ministry's publishing ability ranges in printing Arabic, German, Hungarian, English, Spanish, Olongo, Cambodian, Polish, Kituba, Swahili, Russian, and Italian. Where do all these Scriptures go? Almost daily, shipments leave Oliver Springs for destinations in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, where they are distributed under the auspices of local missionaries and Christian nationals. Still more requests arrive daily from missionaries and individuals all over the world for the precious Word of God. Each and every request is filled as God supplies the funds. Today the ministry is averaging over 2,000 Bible portions daily. There are 3 missionaries that crisscross the nation to raise funds for Mount Pisgah Scripture Printing Ministry. Their objective is to make churches aware of the fact that there are millions of people who do not own a copy of the Word of God and that these people will not have a Bible unless it is given to them. Only by the teamwork of local churches supporting this effort, along with individuals, will this worldwide need of the scriptures be met. -MOUNT PISGAH
